Undergraduate Bulletin
Classes Curriculum
Students desiring to minor in any of the engineering disciplines must take 20 hours of disciplines specific engineering courses in addition to the equivalent of MATH 1951 Calculus I, MATH 1952 Calculus II, MATH 1953 Calculus III, PHYS 1211 University Physics I, PHYS 1212 University Physics II, and PHYS 1213 University Physics III in their curriculum. Degree programs that "naturally flow" into an engineering minor are: chemistry, computer science, biology, mathematics and physics.
Computer Engineering (CpE)
A minor in Computer Engineering requires a total of 20 credits. The goal of the minor is to provide students with a foundation in computer engineering and a basic understanding of the discipline, while allowing some flexibility in elective courses to complement their interests.
Electrical Engineering (EE)
A minor in Electrical Engineering requires a total of 20 credits. The goal of the minor is to provide students with a foundation in electrical engineering and a basic understanding of the discipline, while allowing some flexibility in elective courses to complement their interests.
Mechanical Engineering (ME)
A minor in Mechanical Engineering requires a total of 20 credits. The goal of the minor is to provide students with a foundation in mechanical engineering and a basic understanding of the discipline, while allowing some flexibility in elective courses to complement their interests.
