Analoguino (STM32H7 + FPAA)
Analoguino (STM32H7 + FPAA)
✔️ Introduction
The concept of the Analoguino can have different microcontrollers interacting with the FPAA. In this case, I will be using an STM32H7.
The design of the board is pretty much the same as the Analoguino with the ESP32 + FPAA. The only difference on the board is the redesign of the microcontroller section and respective additional logic to make the STM32H7 interface the FPAA.
✔️ Assemble Stage
The boards were manufactured by PCBWay. As always a wonderful service and I am very happy with the quality of the boards and stencil.
Step 1 – Get Boards Ready
Step 2 – Stencil
Solder paste check

Step 3 – Place Components
Step 4 – Reflow
Inspect boards…
Step 5 – Fix Issues
Step 6 – Blink LED
🔧 Tests
Despite the pinout configuration versatility of the FPAA (AN231), the Analoguino constraints the FPAA pinout to the following:
- I1P, I1N, O1P, and O1N connected to the first Rauch Filter (convert a single ended to differential signal )
- I2P, I2N, O2P, and O2N connected to the second Rauch Filter (convert a single ended to differential signal)
- IO5P, and IO5N connected to the first OPA1652 (convert a differential to single ended signal )
- IO6P, and IO6N connected to the second OPA1652 (convert a differential to single ended signal)
- All the other pins can be used as intended.

🔧 Compatible Shields
The Analoguino is the main board for a variety of shields that interface different sensors and actuactors.
The boards below are prototypes at the moment. They are not complete boards and they are just ideas in progress.

Synth Shield
SDR Shield
